KLM VISITS OSUN APC CHAIRMAN, SOOKO TAJUDEEN .....appreciates his quality leadership.


In what further demonstrated his unalloyed loyalty to the All Progressives Congress, APC, Osun State Chapter, a member of the party and former lawmaker in the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Ibitoye Kilomodemo Adeniran, popularly known as KLM has paid an unscheduled visit to the Chairman of the APC in Osun, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal on Tueaday, 5th March, 2024.

Speaking after his visit to Sooko Tajudeen, Kilomodemo, the Royal Prince of Osun State described the Osun APC Chairman as a leader, who has so far shown capabilities in steering the ship of the party in Osun State.

He added that the party enjoys unity, focus and direction under the leadership of Sooko Tajudeen and his Exco members.

"I am here today to visit my brother, friend and leader, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal and I must say that he is indeed a round peg in a round hole and no gain saying the fact that he has the qualities our party needs at a time like this, because having a quality leader will make it possible for our party to regain its place"

Engr. Ibitoye maintained that more than ever before, members of the Osun APC must put aside their differences and embrace unity ahead of future elections in the state.

"Of course, as human beings, we would have our differences because even people born by the same parents have their differences, moreso, it is always good to disagree to agree."

Meanwhile, after visiting the Osun APC Chairman, KLM attended a STEM programme organized by the Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN) in commemoration of the World Engineering Day (WED 2024). 

The program was attended by the national President of the Association, Engr Mrs Ozim Adebisi FNSE and her team among other distinguished personalities. 

During the programme held in Osogbo, the Osun State Capital, KLM bagged an Award of Recognition.

"I was surprised with an Award Certificate of Recognition presented to me as a ROLE MODEL by the Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN) and I am grateful to the national and the state executives of the Association for the recognition and I am sure this would further spur me to contribute my quota to Humanity and the society at large" KLM said.

Infrastructure: Oyetola Approves Massive Rural Roads Grading

…345 Rural Roads To Benefit Across 69 Councils – Osun ALGON Chair, Samuel Abiodun The Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, ALGON in Osun, Hon. Samuel Idowu Abiodu, on Tuesday disclosed that Association has received an approval from the State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola   to embark on massive rural roads grading. Osun borrowed N10bn in 2023, plans more borrowings in 2024 By Adebayo Adedeji

Facts have emerged that the Osun State Government under the headship of Senator Ademola Adeleke received a loan of N10,022,382,348.40 ( N10bn) in Y2023. The loan, described in the 2023 Budget Performance report of the state as Capital Development Fund, was borrowed from international financial institutions purportedly to enhance the infrastructure of the state. This revelation has given the lie to the boast  of the state governor, Adeleke, that his government has not obtained any loan to execute its projects. Similarly, another document has also revealed that the state government is planning to borrow additional N50.4bn in Y2024. These borrowings are despite the big Internal Generated Revenue ( IGR) of N39.5bn and federal allocation of N141bn that accrued to the state in 2023 and for which the state governor has failed to account.
